Financial Secretary

Position Summary:
Maintains accurate church financial records, processes receipts and disbursements, and prepares regular financial reports in accordance with church policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, count, and deposit offerings

  • Record all receipts and disbursements; post weekly contributions to individual accounts

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations

  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership and church meetings

  • Prepare required quarterly and annual government reports

  • Process approved invoices and monitor budget balances

  • Issue checks to staff and designated organizations
