Church Hostess
Position Summary:
Oversees and coordinates all church food service operations, ensuring well-organized, welcoming, and compliant kitchen and dining services—especially for weddings, receptions, funerals, fellowships, and special events.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and supervise meal preparation for church events and fellowship gatherings

Purchase and manage food, supplies, and kitchen equipment

Provide guidance for weddings, receptions, and related events in accordance with church policies

Be present (or ensure representation) at events using kitchen or dining facilities

Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer food service workers

Maintain inventory and oversee equipment maintenance and repairs

Coordinate room and table arrangements with custodial staff

Manage budget recommendations and maintain accurate financial records

Ensure high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with health regulations

Perform additional duties as assigned
