Worship Leader / Minister of Music

Role: Oversees, plans, and leads the church’s music and worship programs under the pastor’s guidance.

Key Duties:

Direct and evaluate choirs, praise teams, and other musical groups; supervise paid and volunteer music staff.
Recruit, train, and coordinate music ministry leaders and accompanists.
Plan and coordinate music with the church calendar and worship services.
Lead choirs and provide music for weddings, funerals, and special events.
Maintain music library, instruments, and equipment.
Prepare and manage the music ministry budget.
Collaborate with denominational and local association activities.
Serve on the Church Council and perform other duties assigned by the pastor.
